This is what happened at the active shooter exercise at a Merced School

Merced, CA, First responders from throughout Merced County participated in a violent incident response training on December 19, 2019, at Cruickshank Middle School.

The exercise simulated an active-shooter situation requiring a multi-jurisdictional response from law enforcement, EMS and fire personnel.

Participants were provided a briefing, evaluated during the scenario, and debriefed afterward on how their response tactics can be refined and streamlined.

The exercise was held from 7:00 a.m. till 5:30 p.m., no Cruickshank Middle School students were involved in the drill.
