On November 18th, 2019, at approximately 8:05 p.m., officers from the Merced Police Department responded to the Chevron gas station located at 1103 Martin Luther King Jr Way.

Officers arrived and located a male adult not responding, medical personnel arrived at the scene and performed CPR for about an hour.

Merced Police are not releasing any information yet.

According to witnesses, the man arrived saying someone tried to rob him in the area of West 12th and “K” street, the male adult then had a heart attack, witnesses said.  We have not been able to confirm that yet.

Detectives are currently looking for any evidence at both locations.

The Adult male was taken to a hospital.
