Merced Police officers are investigating a shooting in the area of East 22nd Street and Ash Avenue.

Officers responded to the area at around 11:40 Sunday night after receiving reports of shots fired.

It appears there were no gunshot victims, officers did locate vehicles and possibly a structure with damage. No suspects were found upon arrival.

Deputies from the Merced Sheriff Department investigated a shooting a block away from this location on Saturday night. It’s unknown if the shootings are related.
