Officers are investigating a strong-arm robbery that occurred at 7-Eleven, 1810 R Street. Public assistance is requested.

Merced Police officers are investigating a strong-arm robbery at a Merced 7-Eleven late Friday night.

Officers responded to 1810 R Street at around 11:58 for reports of an assault.

When officers arrived, the store clerk reported that two Hispanic male adults entered the store and one selected two cases of Modelo beer.

The clerk went to the front door to prevent them from leaving when one of the suspects punched the clerk in the face and they both fled the area.

If you recognize the suspects in the photographs we encourage you to notify the Merced Police Department.
