The Merced Police crime scene unit was out at Studio 6 located at 1213 V Street, investigating a death in one of the hotel rooms.

Police responded to the area at around 8:50 a.m., Merced police are not releasing any further information at this time.

Investigators cleared the area at around 4:05 p.m.
