Merced police arrest woman for auto burglary, along with shaved keys

On May 2nd, 2020, at approximately 9:22 a.m., Merced Police Officers responded to the 2100 block Dinkey Creek Avenue for an auto burglary in progress.

Officers contacted Sierra Brewer in the area. Brewer had a felony warrant for her arrest. Brewer was in possession of shaved car keys and items belonging to multiple residences in the area.

Brewer was arrested for the felony warrant, possession of burglary tools and four counts of auto burglary. Brewer was transported to the Merced Police Department where she was released via citation and the property was returned to the owners.
