Merced man arrested by Merced Police, this is what officers found

On July 19, 2019, the Merced Police Department’s Gang Violence Suppression Unit (GVSU) developed information that convicted felon Floyd Lawrence had guns and drugs at his home in Merced.

GVSU officers served a search warrant at his residence on Skylark Ct in Merced.

During the search, officers located a handgun, ammunition, over 30 grams of rock cocaine and cash.

Lawrence is a convicted felon and cannot possess any firearms.

Floyd was arrested for sales of narcotics and weapon charges. He was booked at the Merced County Jail.
