A Dos Palos man has been arrested on charges related to child molestation.

Detectives from the Los Banos police department arrested 23-year-old Shane Wilson at his home without incident on Tuesday.

Wilson was arrested after a victim reported several inappropriate acts that occurred over five years ago when she was young.

Detectives said there is a ten-year age difference between Wilson and the victim.

Wilson was booked on the following charges, Lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14-years-old and continuous sexual abuse of a child.
