On 01-12-18, Madera County Narcotic Enforcement Team and Madera County sheriff officers team executed a search warrant in the 2000 block of Truman Drive in Chowchilla at a residence suspected of utility theft as well as housing an indoor marijuana growing operation. A search of the residence confirmed the existence of an illegal indoor marijuana harvest as well as power theft.

The tenant of the property, Jose Figueroa, was located by MADNET and Madera sheriff Detectives at another residence in the 17000 block of Crescent Drive in Madera County.

Figueroa was taken into custody and booked in at Madera County DOC on felony and misdemeanor charges including theft, possession for sales and resisting arrest.
