The driver then turned west into an orchard and eventually turned west onto East Childs Avenue. The driver continued to evade capture while driving at high speeds in light to no traffic conditions.

The driver finally turned north onto Moomjean Avenue, which is a dead-end road. The driver abandoned the Honda while it was still rolling and fled the area on foot. The Honda subsequently collided into the left rear of a 5th wheel travel trailer and a shrub. The driver was last seen running westbound through an orchard, north of SR-140.
