Man found dead near irrigation canal at Atwater Osborn Park

Atwater police officers are investigating a homicide at Osborn Park.

Officers responded at approximately 6:45 a.m. Friday morning for reports of an unresponsive male subject found near an irrigation canal behind the park.

Officers arrived and located the male subject injured, unresponsive, and partially dressed near a homeless campsite at the back fence of the park.

Police say if you observed anything suspicious in the Osborne Park on or before July 31, 2020, or have any information, please contact the Atwater Police
