Today Ivan Ruiz came in to the Madera Police Department lobby and turned himself in. As you may have read in our previous post, Ivan was identified as the suspect in the brutal beating of a local street vendor.

Madera Police Detectives obtained a warrant for Ivan’s arrest and convinced him to turn himself in. MPD will not tolerate crime and violence and will work tirelessly to arrest those responsible.
