The Merced Police Department Traffic Division is asking for your help investigating a fatal hit and run. On December 28, 2018, at approximately 5:51 P.M. Merced Police officers were dispatched to the intersection of 18th and “G” Streets for a vehicle versus a bicyclist.

The female bicyclist was struck by a Gold or Tan Car that fled the scene. The Vehicle was last seen driving eastbound on E. 20th Steet. We appreciate all the help from witnesses and stores who have provided video.

Merced police are asking anyone who may have a video on East 20th Street between G Street and Highland Drive and any side streets off of East. 20th Street, to review your cameras to see if you may have captured a photo or video of the car passing your residence or business between 5:45 PM and 5:51 PM.
