Hundreds gather at Merced Courthouse Museum to protest the death of George Floyd

Hundreds of individuals gathered outside the Merced County Courthouse Museum today at around 11:00 a.m. to voice their feelings about the death of George Floyd who was unarmed and pinned down and killed by a police officer in Minneapolis.

People all over the world are outraged about the death of Floyd.

After the public finished voicing their opinions a march followed around the Courthouse square park traveling past the Merced police station and wrapping around the Merced County Courthouse.

The event ended peacefully in Merced.

    Thank you for a thoughtful and comprehensive overview of yesterday’s Memorial to the senseless murder of George Floyd. You avoided the manipulated version I read and watched in the Sun Star coverage. Nice work!
