Did Merced BobCat Diner close?

It appears another business leaves Merced. A sign is seen on the door of BobCat Diner, the sign only says, “Sorry We’re closed”. The sign as been on the door for about a month. It is unknown at this time what caused their closure or if the business will be reopened. Their Facebook account was deleted. BobCat Diner opened in early February of 2017.

The following report is a health inspection they received a year after their opening.

Bob Cat Diner located at 755 East Yosemite Avenue Suite H in Merced, received an “unsatisfactory” score on their health department inspection that took place on February 21st, 2018. Merced County Department of Environmental Health uses a scale of 1 to 13 points to determine if a restaurant is in compliance (1-6=good, 7-13=satisfactory.

If a business gets over 13 points it is listed has “unsatisfactory” Unfortunately BobCat diner received a score of (35) During the inspection the inspector observed Meat sitting on still water in the prep sink.  BobCat Diner had been open for a year when this health inspection took place.
