The Chowchilla Police Department is currently looking for 38-year-old Gustavo Leon Castillo for allegedly shooting and killing a person in Chowchilla.
On September 6th, 2020, at approximately 6:30 p.m., officers with the Chowchilla Police Department responded to a call of a shooting in the Ash Slough area.
Officers arrived at the scene and located a male subject with a single gunshot wound who was later pronounced deceased.
Police say the suspect fled the area shortly after the shooting.
Authorities say, Gustavo Leon Castillo, resides in the City of Keyes.
He is considered to be armed and dangerous.
