The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal vehicle vs bicyclist collision.
CHP officers responded to the area of Bellevue Road near Utah Street at around 7:58, Monday evening.
When officers arrived, they located an individual who had been struck by a vehicle.
According to witnesses, the vehicle left the scene, medical personnel arrived and performed life-saving measures, unfortunately, the individual succumbed to the injuries.
The identification of the bicyclist remains unknown.
