The California Highway Patrol and Merced Sheriff deputies are investigating a train vs vehicle.

Officers responded to the area of Santa Fe and Cressey Way at around 8:30 Thursday night.

When officers arrived they located the vehicle that was hit by an Amtrak train with major damage, injuries remain unknown at this time.
