A Merced resident received a check for $2,900 from UM Credit Union

The letter attached with the check in the envelope instructs the person to text Roland Bales to the phone number stated on the letter upon of their package arrival.

It instructs the person to go deposit the check to their bank, once done to text them again and they will receive a confirmation of the time the funds will be available.

Then they ask to go to your nearest Walmart to go purchase Money orders, two $1,000 and one for $400, the rest will be yours to keep.
