According to the Merced County Sheriff’s Office, officers are currently investigating a body found in the Delta Mendota Canal in the area of Mercy Springs Road in Los Banos.

The Merced County Sheriff’s Water Rescue and Recovery Team and the Merced County Sheriff’s Detectives Bureau is currently on-scene.
