On 04-06-2018, Manteca PD Detectives, assisted by detectives from the Street Crimes unit and Gang unit served search warrants on multiple locations in Manteca, Lathrop, Modesto and Crescent City related to a shooting that occurred in the 1800 block of Hastings Dr. on 03-18-2018. During that shooting, numerous rounds were fired into a parked car occupied by five teenagers. Three victims were wounded in the shooting. None of the injuries were life threatening.

Three of the search warrants were deemed high risk and were executed by SWAT teams from Manteca PD, Modesto PD and California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. Evidence related to this case, as well as evidence of controlled substance sales were located during the search warrants. Three subjects were arrested and booked on multiple counts of attempted murder and conspiracy. The investigation is continuing in an attempt to identify additional suspects.
