Merced Police arrest three suspects for, narcotics, ammunition and stolen property

On October 11th, 2019, Merced Police Department Officers developed information that convicted felon Edward Garza was in possession of a firearm and narcotics.

Officers located Garza at a home in the 3000 blk of Colony Park Drive in Merced.

Officers searched the residence and located narcotics, stolen property and ammunition.

Some of the stolen property that was recovered belonged to Diversity Elite, which is a local competitive cheerleading group.

Officers also located Jason Davis and Janille Ramirez at the residence. Garza and Davis are convicted felons, prohibited from possessing any ammunition and Garza is currently on active felony probation out of Merced.

Garza, Davis and Ramirez were arrested and booked at the Merced County jail for felon in possession of ammunition, narcotic sales and possession of stolen property.
