On March 12, 2020, the Merced Police Department’s Gang Violence Suppression Unit (GVSU) officers developed information that gang member 23-year-old IIsaha Davis, was in possession of a firearm.
Davis is a convicted felon and cannot possess any firearms. Officers surrounded a home in the 1300 block of West 19th St and Davis exited the home. Officers searched the home and located an AR-15 pistol underneath a couch inside the residence.
Davis was arrested and booked at the jail for weapons charges, resisting arrest and a gang enhancement.
