MERCED DRUG DEALER ARRESTED


Merced,CA- On January 6, 2018, the Merced Police Department’s Gang Violence Suppression Unit (GVSU) officers developed information that Andres Perez-Govea was selling drugs. GVSU officers located Perez-Govea inside a vehicle in the 1600 block of Ellen Ave.

Officers searched his vehicle and located packaged cocaine. GVSU served a search warrant at Perez-Govea’s residence located at 2499 E Gerrard Ave in Merced. During the search, officers located a 2 handguns, an AR-15, a submachinegun, ammunition, a digital scale, over a pound of cocaine, over an ounce of methamphetamine and over $12,000 cash inside his home. Perez-Govea was arrested and booked at the Merced County Jail for sales of narcotics and weapons charges.
