The Merced County Sheriff’s Office Detectives along with deputies assigned to patrol have been working diligently on several vehicle burglary cases reported in the McSwain Area of Merced County.
On February 12, 2019, their investigation paid off when they made a vehicle stop on a white colored SUV matching the description of the suspect vehicle seen in the area during these burglaries.
The driver of the vehicle was 18-year-old Justin Christensen from Merced. Christensen who is on Merced County Probation was in possession of stolen property from the surrounding neighborhood. Detectives placed Christensen under arrest and booked him into the Merced County Jail.
