On July 9th 2020, The Merced Police Gang Violence Suppression Unit served a search warrant in the 3300 block of Bridalveil Ct., at approximately 10:20 a.m.

During the investigation they contacted 29-year-old Braden Price,  during the search, officers located approximately 22 grams of cocaine and a handgun.

Price admitted to officers that he is addicted to cocaine and uses cocaine every day. Price’s self-admission of being addicted to cocaine prevents him from possessing a firearm under state law. Price was booked at Merced County Jail for weapons and narcotics related charges.
