Merced Police are asking for help from the community to identify this man.

On February 10th, 2020, at approximately 3:30 a.m, an unknown white male adult entered into the Merced Inn and Suites located at 2010 East Childs Avenue.

Police say the man was armed with a handgun and demanded the employee to open the safe and get the money.

The employee did not have access to the safe and after several minutes the suspect left on foot.

The suspect is described as being a white male believed to be in his 40s. He is approximately 6 ft tall with a slender build. He was unshaven and he was wearing all black clothing when last seen.
