A Merced County Deputy arrested a man in possession of a firearm and 10 pounds of marijuana. On February 14, 2018 at about 10:00pm, Deputy Hugo Bucio was performing some extra patrol and checking a property that recently burnt down in the 14000 block of Hoskins Avenue in Delhi.

While walking through an abandoned trailer on the property, Deputy Bucio found 31-year-old Angel Solorio inside. Solorio was in possession of a loaded .45 Caliber Glock 21 pistol and 10 pounds of marijuana. Additionally, Deputy Bucio was advised by dispatch that Solorio had a warrant for his arrest. Solorio was placed under arrest for the warrant and other charges related to the investigation and later issued a citation and released.
