Today was a bittersweet day for Officer Anthony Parker as he signed off for the final time.  This is what the Police department said about Parker.

Officer Parker will retire after 17 years with the Los Banos Police Department.

Officer Parker has had a very distinguished law-enforcement career holding numerous positions within the police department. Officer Parker started his career as a Community Service Officer with the Los Banos Police Department. He later attended the police academy and became a full-time police officer in 2003. He served as a patrol officer, detective, and school resource officer.

Officer Parker has a wonderful sense of humor and his laughter is contagious. He makes everyone feel special and you can’t help but smile when you pass him in the hall. His great spirit is what we will miss as we start each day, but we know he is onto bigger and better things in retirement.

In retirement Officer Parker plans to spend more time with his wife Terry and his family.
