LIVINGSTON GANG MEMBER & JUVENILE ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION OF FIREARMS AND XANAX PILLS

On Saturday, July 15, 2017, the Merced Police Department’s Gang Violence Suppression Unit (GVSU) officers developed information that gang member Javier Guardado was in possession of firearms at his residence. GVSU officers authored a search warrant and served the search warrant at Guardado’s residence located in the 1500 block of Davis Street, Livingston, CA.

During the search, officers located two rifles, ammunition, Xanax pills and gang indicia inside his home. One of the rifles found in Guardado’s home was stolen. Guardado is a convicted felon and cannot possess any firearms. Guardado was arrested and booked at the Merced County Jail for felon in possession of a firearms, ammunition, receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance and gang enhancements. A juvenile inside the home was also arrested and booked at juvenile hall for receiving stolen property and gang enhancements.
