Merced IHOP located at 455 West Olive Avenue will be locking the doors for the last time on March 15th, 2020.
“The lease expired and the current property owner wanted to raise the rent and our corporate said it was a lot of money and no agreement was made to renew the lease, unfortunately, we will have to close the Merced location” Isabel Gomez the store manager for over 13-years told Merced Gateway News during a phone interview.
The Merced location has been around for about 25-years, It’s very sad we have to close Gomez said.
It’s unknown if the company will find a new location in the future.
So sad this ihop is closing! Sincerely hope they find a location nearby. The staff is friendly and efficient, will miss going there 🙁
