Run With Heroes 2018 is hosting a 5k/10k family friendly run at the Federal Prison, located at 1 Federal Way in the city of Atwater at the Jose Rivera Training Center. Registration includes a shirt, finisher’s medal and BBQ Lunch.

This event is to Raise awareness and money to support the West Coast Post Trauma Retreat. Emergency service providers everywhere experience critical incident stress and post trauma reactions. Sometimes these incidents affect their jobs, relationships with loved ones and the overall quality of their lives.

Most responders are able to recover and continue working with the help of friends, debriefing and professional counseling. Some are not. West Coast Post Trauma Retreat is there for those responders to help them heal with dignity and respect. Please help us support each other!

This fundraiser event is one of only 2 treatment facilities in the United States to help first responders and their significant other or spouse.  It’s run COMPLETELY by volunteers.  They will also have a free kids race for ages 10 and under.
