Madera Officers continue to provide mutual aid to Mariposa County agencies. Last night their officers were providing security to the area of Jerseydale, California on the Ferguson fire. This area has been evacuated, and for good reason, as you can see in the video.

The video provides a glimpse of Federal Hotshot Firefighters performing a back burn in order to keep the fire away from homes. Currently, there are over one hundred homes in Jerseydale that are threatened by the fire.

It was quite an experience on officers, to see the brave firefighters in action as they worked through the night battling the fire. Local agencies will continue to provide mutual aid during this tragedy.
