Atwater Police Department is investigating a report of a shooting that occurred Saturday afternoon.

Officers responded at approximately 5:00 p.m., to the area of First Street and Broadway Avenue for reports of a shooting.

Authorities say a juvenile was shot in a drive-by shooting. The Juvenile was shot in the arm and was flown to a Modesto hospital, Atwater Police Chief Michael Salvador told Merced GW News.

Police are looking for the occupants of a black Honda Civic that was involved in the shooting.

The identity of the victim was not available.
