The Merced Police Department is currently investigating a vehicle vs a child at the Chevron Gas Station located at 1103 Martin Luther King Jr Way.

According to officers, the child got med-flighted to Children’s Hospital.

The condition of the child is unknown at this time.

The driver of the vehicle was arrested.

At this time officers are investigating and no further information is currently available.
