Atwater, CA-The Atwater Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the individual pictured in these photographs. On April 12th, 2017 just before 9:00 PM, the dark colored sedan pictured here is seen pulling up to the stop sign in front of the 2090/2092 Peace Court community mailbox for Olzack Healthcare and Providence Financial.
The driver is seen exiting the vehicle and then walks up to the mailbox, uses an unidentifiable tool to pry open the mailbox and proceeds to steal the mail inside. He is then seen running back to the car and driving away. The video footage shows there to have been a front right passenger as well.
The suspect appears to be light skinned with a beard wearing a baseball style cap, an Adidas T-shirt, dark pants and shoes. The vehicle license plate was not obtained but the car appears to be a small to medium size sedan, possibly a Honda, VW or Chevrolet.
