21-year-old kills juvenile, he was DUI

On Friday, 12/14/18, at approximately 7:00 P.M., Turlock Police responded to a vehicle collision in the 100 block of East Monte Vista Avenue. The first arriving officer located a white Toyota sedan with two occupants still inside and a third occupant that had been ejected a short distance away. 

One juvenile female was deceased upon arrival. The second juvenile female was transported by ambulance to an area hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries. The third occupant, an adult female, was airlifted to an area hospilife-threateningreatening injuries. Both are currently in stable condition. 

The second vehicle, a black Toyota truck, was located a short distance away where it had collided with a carport and a parked vehicle after the initial collision. The driver, Kevin Solis Hernandez 21-year-old male from Turlock, was located outside the truck with minor injuries. Hernandez admitted to driving. 

The Turlock Police Major Accident Investigation Team responded and took responsibility for the investigation. Hernandez was arrested for Vehicular Manslaughter and DUI causing Death or Serious Bodily Injury. He was booked into Stanislaus County Jail.
