15-year-old found deceased in a vineyard in Kern County had ties to Mariposa

A body found by farmworkers in Kern County on May 7th, 2020, at around 8:00 a.m., was identified as 15-year-old Angel Manuel Haro Villareal.

Villareal was found deceased in a vineyard on Wallace Road and Cecil Avenue with signs of trauma to the body.

Villareal had ties to Mariposa County, he is seen on a photo posted at a GoFundMe account wearing a Mariposa High School Grizzlies jersey. Angel was a member of a group home in Mariposa, according to residents.
