A woman was found hiding inside a chicken coop after she ran from Merced County Sheriff Deputies.
According to deputies, they responded to the 300 block of Bermuda street for a domestic in progress.
Prior to deputies arriving, the suspect 39-year-old Meuy Saelee ran from the scene, Saelee was wanted for felony domestic violence and felony criminal threats.

Deputies on scene requested the assistance of Deputy Dustin Witt and his K-9 partner Banshee to pick up the suspect’s track.
K-9 Banshee is one of two human tracking dogs at the Merced County Sheriff’s Office and is not an apprehension dog.
Deputy Witt and K-9 Banshee tracked Saelee for approximately forty minutes and over a quarter of a mile and located Saelee hiding in a chicken coop.
Deputies Javier Arteaga and Aaron Goins assisted with taking Saelee into custody and booking her into the Merced County Jail.
